Hey Friends!

This is something that has been on my heart lately, and I wanted to share it with all of you!

Recently, I was scrolling through Instagram, and I came across a quote. It was written by a non-Christian spiritual leader named Ram Dass and he said, “We are all walking each other home”. Honestly, it was one of the most beautiful ways to describe the Christian life that I had ever heard. Even though Ram Dass isn’t a Christian, he still encompassed the idea of unity and brotherhood so incredibly. I don’t know whether it was the simplicity of the quote, or the idea of one day coming to our ultimate home, but it was deeply comforting to me.

Later this past week, I was out with my Younglife leader Alex, and we were discussing the idea of “walking” through life. Even though as Christians we all have the same final destination,  our journeys may still look extremely different. The places we walk through and the obstacles we encounter are all going to be unique for each person. Some people may even walk differently than us, but all of this is part of God’s perfect, diverse design. But just because someone loves differently than you, struggles differently than you, or worships differently than you, doesn’t mean that they aren’t following Jesus. Our role as Christian brothers and sisters is to support each other and lead each other to Christ. And ultimately, our goal is to come alongside one another as we walk this path to our final, Heavenly home.
